The Department of Arts & Culture seeks members of the creative community to review and evaluate applications for grants, the Local Music Spotlight program, and public art initiatives. Panelists serve three-year terms.

Step 1.Create a GO Smart Profile

Use our grant management software to create an individual account or update your existing account. Do not create an organization profile.

Applications are reviewed and approved by the San Antonio Arts Commission and its subcommittees. Applicants will be notified via email on the status of their application in March.

Those selected are required to complete training on unconscious bias and attend virtual training in advance of application reviews. A $300 honorarium is paid to panelists who fulfill their role.
