The San Antonio Poet Laureate serves as an ambassador of the City. This position promotes and celebrates the poetic arts and literacy within the community.
Eligible nominees must:
- be a resident of San Antonio for the past three years.
- have a compelling portfolio of published work.
- have an established history of activity in the local literary community.
Past Poets Laureate are ineligible for future appointments.
