The Department of Arts & Culture manages public art funded through capital improvement projects. Public Art created by the City reflects our vibrant and unique community.

Public Art Process

The Public Art Process includes approvals by our San Antonio Arts Commission and its Public Art Committee. Community engagement allows the public to help determine important design aspects of the artwork. This includes updates during the project.
