The Association & Organization Registry (“the registry”) serves as a communications tool for the City of San Antonio to notify associations and organizations of projects and development.
The registry is updated monthly.

Association Registry
The Association Registry contains both Neighborhood and Homeowner Associations. Neighborhood associations are groups of residents who organize to meet specific goals. They improve and maintain the quality of life in their neighborhood.
Homeowner Associations are groups whose members primarily consist of the owners of the property.

Organization Registry
Community organizations are voluntary, not-for-profit groups. They can be city-wide organizations such as a:
- governmental or public service agency
- board or commission
- council district
- neighborhood alliance group representing the needs of special populations

Benefits
The City and the general public use the registry in many ways. Some benefits include:
- Receive news from the City and Council Offices
- Receive notices about nearby development (zoning, planning, historic designations, etc.)
- See reports on calls for police service in the area
- Enjoy no cost reservations for meeting space at City libraries
- Get invitations to special City events and programs
- Allow residents to find and join groups
- Allow developers to connect with groups about projects
Registration
Process
Associations and organizations can register with the City of San Antonio by submitting the appropriate form and required information.

Renewal
Groups must renew their registry information by May 1 every even year to remain registered. Groups that do not renew will be removed from the registry but can submit a new registration at any time.
Reminders
Updates
Groups can update their registry information at any time by submitting the appropriate registry form.
Removal
Groups may request that their registry information be removed from the registry at any time. The group’s point(s) of contact must submit a request in writing to the Communications & Engagement Department.
Boundaries
A map of geographic boundaries shall be submitted as part of the initial registration process and as needed to update boundaries.
