You must appear on the date and time of your citation or summons. The City of San Antonio Municipal Court provides many options to appear before the court depending on your plea or situation.
Payment options include:
Pay a Ticket or Citation
For City Code Administrative Hearing (AH) cases initiated by Development Services, Code Enforcement, or Animal Care Services, you or an authorized representative are expected to appear at the date and time indicated on your citation or summons. If you or your representative fail to appear, a default judgment will be ordered against you.
If you are unable to pay the fine(s) or need additional time to pay you may have the Court assess your ability to pay and the court may provide alternatives (community service, payment plans, etc.) to full payment in satisfying the judgment.
If you were confined in jail or prison after the commission of the offenses listed above, you may be entitled to time served credit toward any fine or costs owed.
If you are over age 65 or have a serious underlying health condition, such as high blood pressure, chronic lung disease, diabetes, obesity, asthma, or you have an immune system compromised by chemotherapy for cancer or other conditions requiring such therapy please contact the court by calling 210-207-8970 to discuss alternate accommodations to resolve your case.
