The San Antonio Municipal Court offers attorneys multiple ways of conducting business with the Court.
Court Filings
Attorneys wishing to represent a client at Municipal Court must submit a letter of representation/notice of appearance to the court and may file motions by using only one of the following methods:

- Electronic Filing

Attorneys wishing to view and search cases they are listed as the attorney of record or who wish to file motions on a case with the court must electronically file at the San Antonio Municipal Court Records and Docket Search website.

Attorney Connect
Attorney Connect is a resource email box which allows attorneys to resolve clients’ cases without the necessity of appearing in person at the courthouse. Permissible uses are limited to:
- Submit notice of appearance/letter of representation.
- Request and receive offers for deferred disposition, DSC, compliance dismissals or other plea offers on single or multiple violations.
- Request a reset on cases without a plea and is in an appearance status or enter a plea of not guilty and request a trial.
- Request to set cases on a Plea Bargain Zoom Docket.
To use this service, attorneys must complete, acknowledge and submit the Attorney Information Form and Attorney-Connect Guidelines Form to attyconnect@sanantonio.gov.
Attorney Plea Bargain
In addition to Attorney-Connect, the Court offers two weekly (excluding city holidays) court dockets dedicated to attorneys to help with resolving client cases.

Via Zoom Meeting
NOTE: To be placed on a Zoom Plea Bargain Docket, please email attyconnect@sanantonio.gov at least 72 hours before scheduled docket for the Zoom Meeting ID and password.
All Court orders will only be sent electronically to the attorney of record for any attorney plea bargain/attorney connect case.
Attorneys' Responsibilities
- Adhere to the Municipal Court’s Rules of Court Conduct and Decorum when they practice before all courts both in person and virtually and shall conduct themselves in accordance with the Texas Disciplinary Rules of Professional Conduct.
- Timely notify clients of pending court dates, plea offers, court orders and deadlines.
- Ensure proper Service of Process to the City of San Antonio Prosecutor’s Office in accordance with Chapter 28 of the Texas Code of Criminal Procedure.
