If you received a citation or summons to appear in court and are under 17, you must appear in person and with a parent or legal guardian.
You are expected to dress appropriately when you come to court. A strict dress code is enforced.
If you fail to appear for your original appearance date, a warrant may be issued for your arrest if you are over 16. The State may also file an extra charge of Failure to Appear.
