Department Overview
The Finance Department is dedicated to providing quality, efficient, and accurate financial services and is focused on delivering excellence in organizational and community needs. The department has a fiduciary responsibility to safeguard the City’s financial assets and manage its financial resources in accordance with the goals of the City Council and City Manager, and in compliance with applicable laws and generally accepted accounting and financial principles.
Led by department director and Deputy Chief Financial Officer Troy Elliott with 240 employees, the department provides a wide range of professional services including:
