San Antonio is experiencing cold temperatures. Be prepared by following the Four Ps: People, Pets, Plants, and Pipes.
Finding aids are documents created by archivists that describe materials in archival collections and show how the materials are arranged. All finding aids listed below will open as a keyword-searchable PDF in a new tab or window.
The City of San Antonio Municipal Archives is committed to offering online access to archival materials as much as possible. We currently offer several thousand items in our digital collections, with new content being added regularly. However, due to the high volume of records in our facility, online access is not available for every item.
Our finding aids list materials that are available online, as well as materials that are only available for viewing by visiting the Municipal Archives & Records Facility. If materials listed in a finding aid are available online, they will be linked directly to the item in the finding aid. You may also search additional online materials using our Search Collections page.
If you would like to make an appointment to view materials in person, or if you have questions, please email or call us at 210-207-7253, option 4.
