Westside Creeks Greenway System

The Westside Creeks is a group of five waterways that run along the west urban core of the city, ultimately flowing into the San Antonio River. These greenways run within the man-made channel limits established in 1954 by the federal San Antonio Channel Improvement Project (SACIP), that addressed flooding in the area.

Due to its urban nature, they are specially well poised for recreational and commuting use alike, once all phases are completed. The greenways can be accessed from multiple trailheads and neighborhood connections.
