Health Equity Network

This is a group of organizations and community members removing barriers to food, housing, and respectful care in San Antonio by 2030.  These numbers show a crisis in our community.  But together, we can make a change.

• 69% had to choose between food and utilities
• 67% had to choose between food and transportation
• 66% had to choose between food and medical care
• 57% had to choose between food and housing
• 31% had to choose between food and education

These groups are working to make sure no one in San Antonio has to make impossible choices just to get by.  Right now, too many people have to decide between basic needs like food, housing and medical care.
