This section uses a public health approach to reduce violence in the community. Metro Health supports people experiencing violence through intervention, case management services and therapy.
Metro Health also works to prevent violence by addressing the root causes of violence through programs. These programs support parents, teach young adults healthy relationship behaviors and support policies that reduce poverty and increase educational resources.
