Airport Police Officer Arrested for Driving While Intoxicated

SAN ANTONIO (July 30, 2024) – A San Antonio Airport Police Officer, Rubi Tovar, was arrested while off duty for Driving While Intoxicated by the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office. Tovar was arrested on 07/29/24 just after 10:00 pm. Tovar has been placed on administrative duty.

Officer Tovar has been employed by the San Antonio Airport Police Department for one year. The San Antonio Airport Police Department is conducting an administrative investigation into this incident. Please contact the BCSO for any questions regarding the criminal investigation.
