The Camino Verde event not only highlights the city’s commitment to outdoor recreation but also serves as a reminder of the positive impact these spaces have on the well-being of the community. By hosting activities across multiple parks, the event showcases the variety of opportunities available within our parks and trails network, inviting residents of all ages and abilities to discover, enjoy, and benefit from these beautiful natural spaces.

“Maintaining an active lifestyle and spending time outdoors provide both mental and physical health benefits,” said Metro Health Director Dr. Claude A. Jacob. “This collaborative effort ensures that area residents have easy access to safe, clean, and welcoming spaces that foster their overall health and well-being.”
