SAN ANTONIO (Dec. 8, 2022) — Celebrate the holidays downtown at Travis Park, Historic Market Square and La Villita Historic Arts Village! Enjoy free, family-friendly events, and shop for one-of-a-kind holiday gifts for your loved ones while supporting local independent small businesses!

Rotary Ice Rink at Travis Park
Open through Jan. 16, 2023
The Rotary Ice Rink, presented by Valero, is back at Travis Park through Jan. 16, 2023! Since 2019, nearly 200,000 people have enjoyed the rink and surrounding festivities. For more information, including hours of operation, pricing, and specials, please visit the Rotary Ice Rink website.
 
H-E-B Christmas Tree
Enjoy a spectacular holiday light display every evening through Jan. 6, 2023. Adorned with more than 10,000 lights and custom-made ornaments, the 50-foot tree is H-E-B’s gift to the city. Travis Park is decorated with 250,000 lights across the park made possible by Centro San Antonio.

TubaMeister Christmas Concert

Rico’s River Rally
Tuesday, Dec. 27, 5 p.m., FREE
The San Antonio River Walk plays host to college football’s most unique pep rally to celebrate the Valero Alamobowl. While the head coaches, team captains, and cheerleaders take part in a spirited pep rally at the Arneson River Theatre on the River Walk, the school bands and the rest of the players excite the crowd by making a grand entrance on river cruisers. Celebrate SA: San Antonio's Official New Year’s Eve Celebration

Shimmy into the New Year at Celebrate SA, the City’s official New Year’s Eve celebration in downtown produced by the San Antonio Parks Foundation and the City of San Antonio. Check out the City's SAPark website for easy, convenient, and affordable parking! A full list of City-owned garages, lots and meters can be found here. Downtown Tuesday offers free parking on Tuesdays from 5 p.m. to 2 a.m. in City-owned parking facilities, and City Tower Sundays offers free parking on Sundays from 7 a.m. to midnight at the City Tower Garage located at 117 W. Commerce.
