The San Antonio International Airport announced a partnership with American Airlines, which could bring many opportunities to both cities.

“Our city working in partnership with American Airlines for direct flights to Washington D.C will be a step forward for our tourist industry, whether travelers are visiting for business or leisure,” said the Councilmember.

National Police Week is celebrated from May 12 - May 18. The City of San Antonio presented the San Antonio Police Department with a proclamation as recognition for their dedication to San Antonio.

“It was an honor to recognize the law enforcement in our community,” the Councilmember said. “Public safety is top priority for our city. Making sure our Police Officers feel that support is key as they put their lives on the line daily.”

In the community, San Antonio Fear Free Environment (SAFFE) officers are an essential part of public safety. When the opportunity presents itself, take time to thank them. For more information on connecting with your SAFFE officer visit the SAPD Substation page.
