SAN ANTONIO (June 4, 2024) – Councilmember Melissa Cabello Havrda, in conjunction with the City of San Antonio Public Works Department, announces a temporary road closure on June 15 through September 15, 2024, on a portion of Autumn Mist at the San Antonio city limits near Alamo Ranch, in the District 6 North San Antonio Hills subdivision.

"Our District 6 team worked with Public Works staff over several months to identify a solution following the concerns expressed by homeowners,” the Councilmember said. “The residential street Autumn Mist will be closed through the summer to determine the feasibility of and desire for a permanent street closure, and we have notified San Antonio Police Department and San Antonio Fear Free Environment officers of closure dates.”

The temporary closure is in response to requests from homeowners in the North San Antonio Hills subdivision following a series of HOA meetings. Throughout the closure, residents can submit questions, concerns and input on the road closure on the webpage  on SASpeakUp; via email council.district6@sanantonio.gov or phone 210-207-3749.

"Our District 6 team will keep our residents apprised of the closure on social media and together with North San Antonio Hills Homeowner’s Association will distribute flyers throughout the neighborhood to communicate the temporary closure and the Public Works Department will have electronic signboards in placed on Lone Star Parkway and the Loop1604 access road to alert drivers,” the Councilmember added.
