San Antonio (July 26, 2024) - Councilmember Manny Pelaez and the District 8 Council Office are thrilled to announce the fourth annual Rising Stars Leadership Program designed to equip young leaders with essential skills and knowledge. This dynamic, free program offers a unique opportunity for local high school students to connect with area leaders, participate in interactive workshops, and develop a strategy to guide them through their final years of high school and beyond.

Over the course of four days, the curriculum will cover a range of critical topics, including effective communication, problem-solving, community engagement, and civic responsibility. By participating, students can gain a deeper understanding of how their talents and passions can be channeled to address San Antonio’s most pressing issues.
