SAN ANTONIO (February 6, 2025) – SAPD was notified by the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office that SAPD Officer Ruben Vasquez was arrested today for an incident that occurred while he was off-duty on February 5, 2025. Vasquez has been charged with Assault Bodily Injury- Family.
Officer Vasquez, a 24-year veteran of the department, is currently assigned to SAPD’s West Patrol Section. He has been placed on Administrative Duty.
