Residents invited to learn about the Fiscal Year 2025 Proposed Budget

City Manager Erik Walsh will present the proposed budget to City Council on August 15, 2024


SAN ANTONIO (July 31, 2024) - The City of San Antonio is inviting residents to participate in a series of Budget Town Hall meetings during the month of August. City Manager Erik Walsh and staff from key departments will share highlights from the Fiscal Year (FY) 2025 proposed budget and answer questions from residents.

“The formulation of the annual budget is one of the most important responsibilities of the City. We invite all San Antonians to join City leadership at the upcoming town hall meetings to learn more about the proposed budget and give us important feedback,” City Manager Erik Walsh said.

During the City Council A Session on August 15, 2024, City Manager Walsh will present the FY 2025 Proposed Budget. The town hall meetings are an opportunity to gather feedback from residents about the proposed budget for the City’s fiscal year 2025, which begins on October 1, 2024. City Council will vote on the budget during the A Session on September 19, 2024.
